Basic but good value for money. Convenient location. Room clean and bigger than suggested by photos. Windows can be opened.

You don't stay at a Travelodge for the views, the facilities or the cuisine so the 5 star above is for a very comfortable and keenly priced stay. Situated some distance outside Kendal, a car is pretty much essential for this location.

Clean hotel that is clearly quite new. Lovely staff and exactly what we needed to put our head down for the night. No complaints.
