the best host I been , the howner made thia magic , she is working alot and very hard . My hat off for this superwoman.
Very safe welcoming place to stayRoom warm and cosy having everything you would need- selection of teas, coffee, chocolate and biscuits and sweets. Corkscrew was handy if needed. A fridge was available and had a bottle of milk. The little shower room had an illuminated mirror, a shelf for toiletries, a toothbrush and tiny toothpaste. The towels were ok, one was a larger size.If you are a larger person it could be too small but for me it is perfect.
Glynnis is a wonderful hostess. We were in top room which was beautiful, never slept so well in years. The breakfast was lovely. Definitely coming back
Excellent value from a guest house in a great location. Perfect for exploring the Lakes national park during the day. Kendal pubs, restaurants, shops and castle within easy walking distance. Comfortable room and very friendly host. Breakfast was yummy. Veg options were particularly tasty, eg cheese & spinach stuffed mushrooms. Highly recommended.
