Very friendly staff, great room with en suite shower and w.c, very clean and warm, also has sky tv which was a nice touch, courtyard parking, the food was amazing could do with a a better vegetarian selection, other than that it's great. Will be back,

Love the location and with well kept ale, good food and an overall 'warm' atmosphere whilst my initial visits have given an impression of it being a little cliquey I'll reserve full opinion as, like a fine wine or ale, it might just need a little more 'getting to know'. Well worth a visit
Stayed over on a Sunday night for a gig down the road. Staff were very helpful and friendly, room was on the small side but perfect for what we needed. Very nice pub and private entrance to room. We will be back!
This was perfect for my quick stopover in Kendal. The staff were very friendly - they put on an early breakfast for me and even made me a packed lunch without me asking! My room was clean and comfortable. I didn't have a pub meal so can't comment on this. Would definitely come again.
