Nice Thai food reasonably priced in ok surroundings
The most therapeutic pub if ever been in, just sit and have a nice beer, and the locals and staff make you feel part of a family, didn't want to leave, highly recommended place to experience kendal and the people
Perhaps we caught them at an off time. Was expecting a little more interaction from the staff, like being talked to or how was your meal? Forgetting to get more ordered drinks just resulted in a loss of revenue for them.Maybe not next time!
A cracking little pub with lots of history and character serving good ales and good food.
Great small pub in which to wind up the evening during visits to the Lakes International Comic Art Festival over the years. Really welcoming and relaxed. A nice reminder of what a "local" should be.
