Okay, if you're a history enthusiast it's alright but I wouldn't suggest taking young children to be entertained, you'll spend your time keeping them away from the 'Do Not' signs. I was also expecting a bit more for the 5 entry fee.
Good place to visit on a wet day. Some interesting stuff and activities for kids too.
Worth a visit when you have an hour or two to spare. Easily worth 5. Some interesting features. Very nice caf by the art gallery. Homemade pork pie was a blast from the past. Local parking was a typical rip off, almost as much as the entrance fee. Same all over the lakes and a real off-putting cost.
Was nice but small. They used to have a part with Postman Pat things but not anymore
Good museum. Very well thought out and is worth a visit. Takes about an hour to walk round.Good value and the staff are enthusiastic and helpful
