Nice little cafe with a good choice on the menu. The food was served fast and was very nice. The only thing I would comment negatively on, was that it was cash only but i didnt see a sign stating this....luckily there was a cash machine straight opposite.
Tiny eatery, felt a bit cramped as lots of tables in a small space. Was busy and got seated next to door which was letting in an arctic style chill each time it was opened! Food ok, nothing to get massively excited about. Staff lovely.
Very clean, well presented cafe serving good portions of delicious food at reasonable prices. All the cooking and baking is done on the premises and served very well and efficiently. Home made pies are superb. A selection of coffees and teas are also available as well as soft drinks.
We usually have lunch here when we do shopping in the town. We keep going back because of the friendly welcoming staff but mainly because the food is excellent. We were put off yesterday though, a couple called and asked if they could bring their dog in with them, permission was granted. Not long afterwards I was horrified to see that it had "done it's business" on the floor. I don't think that the owners were aware of the problem. We were not aware that it was a dog friendly place and if dogs are allowed then perhaps they should be welcome only if the owners of the dog used the outside eating area.It's such a shame, but we won't be returning.
Had a lovely home made scone straight from the oven with jam and cream. My son had a lovely hot chocolate and a cheese and ham toastie. I had a lovely pot of tea. I highly recommend this place if you are ever in Kendal.
