Loved this hidden gem. Lovely food and a really warm likable atmosphere.
Food as ordered, and freshly made. Tasted good. Preferred cash to card though, but did take card payment. Our waitress could have been a little friendlier when explaining about cash/card payment.
The food served here is delicious. Freshly prepared and served promptly too. Great choice on the menu, I'd say something for everyone, even picky eaters.The option to swap white/brown bread for a ciabatta roll is a really nice twist. (sliced bread doesn't always settle well with a member of our party)
Great food, cooked well and with a sunny patio outside to dine in the lovely putside area, it was like being back in Spain! Fine drinks and dining at a very competitive price. I had a club sandwich which was to die for, superb! Great menu choices for the evening as a Bistro also and fine wines. The Staff are friendly and we will return. Had a lovely lunch there with two friends. My fish cake was tasty and chunky chips to go with it. Meringue sweet went down well. Both my friends enjoyed their meal as well. Very friendly staff. Next time I'm shopping in Kendal will go there again. Lovely old building as well.
