Nice little picturess station up in the lakes, it's run by bit on staff who are always happy to help weather it be on to the train or with directions. Toilets are always blocked but always kept clean and tidy. Well done
Drop off car park reduced to 3 places, absolutely terrible to drop off or pick up passengers - especially considering the price of the train tickets. It's the only station in the area on the West Coast main line, and has 3, yes 3, free parking spaces. Ridiculous.

Good place if needing somewhere to park. Loads of taxi's always parked up. Plus can can get good coffee in nearby retail units. Pork pies, pies, sausage rolls booze if that takes your fancy.
