Best chippy in Kendal by far! The Chips are Delicious and they serve the best chicken burger Ive ever had! The service is great as well, the staff are so polite and always chatting away. I definitely recommend coming to try!!
This is by far THE best fish and chip shop in Kendal. The food is always cooked to perfection and delicious every time. The staff are lovely and always happy and efficient. I honestly cant recommend this place highly enough. Its absolutely perfect in every way. You wont want fish and chips from anywhere else once youve had them from this place.
I've got a slight problem with this chippy. Don't get me wrong, the food and service is OK but it's more of a chippy for southern tourists. A chippy should be a simple and cheap meal that's quick to pick up. Nowt fancy, I can go to a Michelin Star restaurant if I want fancy. Fish, Chips and Steak Puddings should be ready to go at peak times. It irked me that they didn't sell steak puddings, they sell beef puddings! And it wasn't cheap either, more than 5 for Pudding, Chips and Gravy. Southerners, you'll be happy with it. Your Northern chippy aficionados will be angered.
Delicious food with a smile.Only place our daughter will eat fish and chips. Martin, Jan and Gemma are super efficient and everything is cooked to perfection and considering the size of the menu thats quite a skill. Best Fish and Chips in the UK for me, its the little touches that make it.
Randomly stopped at this place as we didnt get a table in a thai restaurant nearby and amazingly this is one of the best Fish and chips i have had in years. Portion sizes were big and prices were quite decent. I would definitely come back here again. Forgot to mention very friendly ladies who served me.
