Im jumping to conclusions here but anyone that accuses someone else of suffering from (selective quote) "Audiophile madness or disease has almost certainly NOT tried the product they claim to be so knowledgeable about. Its also quite rude to said 'audiophiles' & not at all helpful or constructive. Weird how we invariably see sceptical rants from those that haven't tried the products and, as far as Im aware, very few if any from those that have because - if you dont think the product makes a difference - theres a no quibble 60 day refund option. I embarked on the RA path many years ago with a modestly priced 'Yello' mains lead. My expectations were slightly above zero - but for 40 why not try it? The improvement was extraordinary - and when your wife walks through the lounge & accuses you of buying a new CD player you realise youre onto something good. Nowadays, mains leads, interconnects & mains distribution / purifier account for a third of the price of my system comprising Primare CD / Sugden amp / Castle speakers. The Mad individuals are those that never experience the full potential of their system because they wallow in their cynicism; theyd rather spend a fortune on a new piece of hardware. No, Ill continue along my 15 year journey to madness & disease and enjoy the company of my fellow lunatics when I finally reach the hifi asylum.
Friendly advice and service - as another reviewer notes a few items are expensive and, to some, of questionable value. However you have a 60 day trial period to evaluate products so if you're not happy just send them back for a full refund. Try that with many dealers and listen to the response!Kimber cable, which is used for Russ's interconnects, speaker cable and in many 'power' products is excellent and well known in the industry. In addition to the 'off the shelf' products advice and upgrades for your components is available as is re-termination/repair of existing cables.
